Candidate Sync Setup

We are building an automatic connection so that when a candidate reaches a certain stage in our recruiting pipeline, they are instantly added to your GoHighLevel account. Please answer the questions below so we can build it correctly.

Where a question says EXACT: please copy the wording letter for letter as it appears in your account, including capitalization, spacing, and punctuation. The system matches by name, so "New Hires" and "New Hire" are two different things.

Question 1

Which candidates should we send you?

Candidates move through stages in our pipeline. Which stage should trigger a candidate being sent to your account?

If you choose more than one, let us know in the notes at the bottom if you want them treated differently, for example landing in different stages or getting different tags.

Question 2

Your pipeline

Which pipeline in your account should these candidates be added to? Open your account, go to Opportunities, and copy the pipeline name EXACTLY as it appears.

Question 3

Landing stage

Which stage inside that pipeline should candidates land in when they first arrive? Copy the stage name EXACTLY as it appears.

Question 4

Candidate information

Each candidate we send will include their full name, phone number, and email address.

Question 5

Duplicates

If a candidate we send already exists as a contact in your account (same phone or email), which do you prefer?

Question 6

Tag

Do you want a tag added to these contacts so your team can identify them at a glance?

Question 7

Notifications

When a new candidate arrives in your pipeline, should anyone on your team be notified?

Question 8

Access

To connect the two systems we need one of the following. Choose whichever you are more comfortable with.

Follow these steps exactly, in your GoHighLevel sub-account:
  1. Go to Settings → Private Integrations
  2. Click Create New Integration
  3. Name it: WSJ Candidate Sync
  4. Check ONLY these four permission boxes: View Contacts, Edit Contacts, View Opportunities, Edit Opportunities
  5. Click create, then copy the token immediately. It is only shown once. If you miss it, delete the integration and create a new one.
  6. Find your Location ID in Settings → Business Profile
  7. Paste both below

Notes

Once we have your answers we will build the connection, run a test candidate through, and confirm with you before it goes live.
